Modoji by PAASUP — organizational knowledge people share, AI uses instantly

Documents that keep piling up,
turned into knowledge that answers when you ask.

Business plans, contracts, research notes, review memos. Upload the PDFs, Office files and Hangul documents scattered across your drive and chat apps into one place, and get back answers with the document name and page attached. Who changed what, and when, is kept too.

We're taking early-access requests before signup opens. Start alone, and once a team forms, just widen who can see it.

Not a tool for writing new documents —
a repository for the documents you already have

Different from a note-taking app, and different from a tool that answers questions about a handful of PDFs. We'll tell you honestly which one fits.

This fits if

  • You have hundreds of PDF, Hangul and Word documents piling up, and more keep coming
  • You ask "which document was that in?" every week, and answers need a source
  • You work with documents where versions and history matter, like contracts and submissions
  • You want to open, edit and share PPT/Excel/Hangul files as-is, without retyping them
  • You'd like scanned paper documents to be searchable too
  • You're starting alone but expect to share with a team eventually

A different tool fits better if

  • Your main use is writing and organizing new notes — a note-taking app fits
  • You just need to summarize two or three PDFs once, then you're done
  • You need an organization-wide rollout with approval routing, audit logs and data connections. See the PAASUP ACE

Your team's documents are only organized in a few people's heads

It's not a problem while the team is small. But once material piles up and people change, the same person ends up answering the same question every time.

  • Startups
  • Research labs
  • Legal & IP
  • Accounting & consulting
  • Any team with a lot of documents

"Where's that file again?"

Material is scattered across five different places

Shared drives, personal laptops, chat attachments, inboxes. You can only ask the one person who remembers where it went.

"Is this actually the final version?"

Nobody's sure which one is current

plan_final_v3_actually_final.pptx. Without a record of who changed what and when, you end up making the same confirmation calls every time.

"That was the person who left, so…"

When people leave, the knowledge leaves with them

Contract terms, submission history, response standards. Even if it's on record somewhere, if you can't find it, it might as well not exist.

Don't retype it.
Open, edit and share the file as it is

No organization-management features to wade through — just documents and knowledge. Every screen below is an actual product screen.

Document viewer screen: a list on the left shows files with DOCX, XLSX, JSON, MD, CSV, HWPX and PDF format badges, and a PowerPoint file is open page by page inside the browser

View 8 file formats without downloading them

PPT, Excel, Word, Hangul, PDF, CSV, Markdown, JSON. No more downloading a file just to check it, or being unable to open it because you don't have the right program. Turn pages and search inside documents right in the browser.

A Word document viewer shows a 'page 3 changed' indicator, with the changed sentence on page 3 highlighted in a yellow border

Every change is kept, and you only see the pages that changed

Who changed what, and when, is recorded automatically. Office documents like Word and PowerPoint are compared against the previous version to show which pages and sentences changed, so you're not re-reading all 40 pages from scratch.

Share link dialog: expiry (in days, up to 90), password protection toggle, download policy (preview only, PDF only, original file) and a create-link button

Share a document or folder with a single link

No more sending files one by one. Share a whole folder as a link, and set its expiry, a 4-digit password, and how much can be downloaded. Recipients can view it right from their phone — no signup needed.

A repository just for you

Only you see your own documents. Start in a personal repository fully separate from any shared one, and move only what you choose to publish into a team space.

Large files and scanned copies, as they are

Scanned contracts, tens-of-megabytes proposals, engineering drawings. No need to store them separately because of size or format — keep them alongside your other documents, and see each one's processing status.

Find it, ask about it, and get a first draft

Finds sentences with the same meaning even when the wording differs, alongside keyword search. Answers are grounded in your own documents, and you can turn that answer into a new draft and keep only the parts you want.

Screen right after clicking Edit on a Word document: a message reads 'Starting desktop editing. Saving in the app uploads it as a draft' alongside an 'editing' indicator

Edit with the program you already use. No downloading and re-uploading round trips

Click Edit, and your Hangul, Word, PowerPoint or Excel app on your own PC opens the file directly. Save in that program, and it's uploaded as a draft right away — click Apply, and it's recorded as a new version. Works on both Windows and Mac.

MCP connection guide on the account settings screen: the steps to issue an API token and add the server address to Claude Desktop's settings

Connect your own AI tool to your repository

Connect an MCP client like Claude Desktop, and it searches and cites your documents inside that same tool, under the same permissions — no need to open yet another chat window. Issue a token from your account settings and just add the server address.

Not just search — it reads and answers

The moment you upload a document, it goes through processing suited to its file type and becomes knowledge. Below are the actual stages one file passes through.

Read the file Extract text & tables (OCR for scans) Interpret figures & charts Split into meaningful units Store the index Keep the original page

You can check the processing status per document, so you can tell what's already searchable from what's still being processed.

Document processing status panel: a scanned PDF document is shown moving through read, download, layout extraction, text extraction and embedding stages, finishing at Indexed
An actual screen showing one scanned PDF moving through the processing stages via OCR-oriented text extraction. Hangul (HWPX) documents go through the same pipeline.

Reads Hangul documents and scanned paper too

HWP files from government-support paperwork, and scans or image PDFs with no embedded text, are turned into readable text through character recognition. Upload a plain scan of a contract, and it becomes searchable too.

Understands tables and charts as sentences

Tables of raw numbers, and org charts or flowcharts drawn as images, are also turned into a written explanation kept alongside them — so you can ask "what was that value in that table?"

Shows the source document and page alongside the answer

It doesn't just hand you an answer. It also shows which document and page it came from, so you can open the original and check it right away.

You can trust us with it

Since this service handles contracts and submitted paperwork, security isn't a feature — it's the baseline. It's operated directly by PAASUP, a B2B platform company certified to the international information security management standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

Protection of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets involved in the design, development, delivery, deployment and maintenance of PAASUP DIP, a data intelligence platform for air-gapped (on-premise/internal-network) environments

Encrypted at rest and in transit

All traffic is encrypted over TLS, and documents and attachments are kept server-side encrypted in cloud storage. Passwords and connection keys are stored only hashed or encrypted.

Isolated cloud infrastructure

Runs inside an isolated network (VPC) on AWS, with server access allowed only through security groups and keys. The database is never reachable directly from outside.

Monitored and logged around the clock

Server resources and errors are monitored continuously, with alerts firing the moment a threshold is crossed. Who opened or downloaded which document, and when they logged in, is kept on record for after-the-fact review.

Your documents are yours; team documents stay within permissions

Nobody but the owner — not even an administrator — can view a personal repository's contents. Team repositories set who can see them at the repository and folder level, and search and answers stay within that same permission boundary.

Never used to train AI models

Documents and questions you submit are used only to generate your answer, never to train an AI model — guaranteed by contract terms with our AI model providers.

Minimal personal data, handled as disclosed

Only the email and name needed to sign up are collected. Our collection, use, retention and deletion standards are published in the Privacy Policy, and data is deleted on request when you leave.

Four steps, and you're done

No adoption consulting, no taxonomy design needed. Sample documents and suggested questions are ready right after signup, so you can get your first answer immediately.

STEP 01

Upload your documents

You can upload a whole folder at once. PDF, Hangul, Word, scanned PDFs — as they are.

STEP 02

It reads them automatically

Uploaded documents are processed automatically and become searchable and askable. No tagging needed.

STEP 03

Ask

Ask in plain language, like "what were last year's contract renewal terms?", and get an answer with the source document attached.

STEP 04

Keep it as a document again

Save the answer you got as a new document, and that document becomes knowledge for the next question too.

On your phone, snap a photo, upload it, and ask

Photograph a paper contract, a business card or a whiteboard with your camera, upload it, and ask the AI about it right there, photo in hand. Scanned PDFs you've stored are searchable on mobile too — right before a meeting, ask "what were that contract's renewal terms" and check the source page. Shared links you receive also open directly on your phone, no signup needed. Save the editing and organizing for your PC.

Start alone, grow into a team, then an organization.

You don't need to roll out a company-wide system from day one. Expand only as far as you need, and whichever stage you're at, the repository you've been using stays the same.

Stage 1

Personal repository

Solo · early access

  • A document space only you can access
  • AI Q&A across everything you've uploaded
  • Change history and recovering earlier versions
Stage 2

Shared team repository

Once a team forms

  • Choose who can see each repository
  • Move only the documents you choose to publish into the team repository
  • Search and answers also stay within access permissions
